I admit to have missed payments because the gas bill was very high and I was between jobs, however I was able to make a payment ($321.64) on Friday morning. Washington gas services are sucks. more worst is customer service sitting in Philippine. This is insulting i would say that US customer treat by some idiots outside the country. Washington Gas Energy Services is a rip off of a quazi division of Washington Gas (false advertising). I was told I would be charged 72 cents per therm. I was already on the budget plan with Wash. I have been with Washington supply since'09. Each time they scam to "lower" your rate- your "contract" starts all over. I was told last yr that my date to cancel the "contract" was 5/14/14. They sent me an email that said they were going to raise my rate from 7.7 to 12.49 cents per kw, if I didn't sign with them at a rate of 8.5. They were going to back track to January and charge me the new rate of 12.49 cents for those two months of electricity. I have to pay 150$ to get out of the contract for a year and they have gave the highest bill in all the years at this house in the winter. They said they send a paper when your years up and if you don't say you don't want to stay with them they start a contract for another year and another fee with out you saying it's okay. They don't explain or tell you about contracts. Try make you think they are like all the other harmless company's but their the ones that give those company's a bad name. They talk to you for hour then you are told to say yes to every question.
